Part P building reg requires any outdoor electrical work to be completed by a qualified electrician; exempt from Part P, Solar Mate can be easily and safely installed by anyone.
The kit comprises a high power solar panel which is suitable for UK weather conditions and all the necessary fixings and cables to be up and running. Just add a car or caravan battery to complete the installation and get free electricity from solar power. We recommend a 63/75/85Ah battery which you can select above if you need.
The energy saving bulb option is supplied with:
Supplied with an 18watt crystalline solar panel, charge controller, roof / wall fixing kit, 4 x 12v 9w energy saving bulbs (45 brightness equivalent), wall switch 7m cable, connectors, fuses and detailed instructions
The fluorescent strip light option is supplied with:
Supplied with an 18watt crystalline solar panel, charge controller, roof / wall fixing kit, 2 x 12volt fluorescent light fittings individually switched, 7m cable, connectors, fuses and detailed instructions
